GHOSTS OF HALLOWEEN
The students, staff and
parents of the International School of Hyderabad celebrated Halloween
this week in a traditionally ghoulish style! The festivities started with a
wonderful array of creatures of the night arriving expectantly at the school
with empty bags in hand, anticipating a successful night of
"trick-or-treating".
Before
long, the motley crew of witches, vampires, ghosts and monsters were visiting
host families in the area, many of whom had not only decorated their houses in a
suitably creative Halloween style, but had prepared a few frightening surprises
of their own for their devilish visitors. Nonetheless, confronted with over 50
howling and screaming apparitions, all the hosts took the sensible option of
appeasing their guests with some traditional treats which saw their visitors
eventually returning to the school, exhausted and with no doubt a few sore
throats, but happy with their sugary bounty.
